Pool Surround Cleaning

Pool surrounds are wet, shaded in patches and walked on barefoot. They're the surfaces where organic growth matters most.

Coping, surrounds and the paving that runs back to the house collect a slick film that's easy to miss when it's wet and obvious when it dries. It's also a genuine slip risk in an area where people are barefoot and moving quickly.

The care here is as much about what we protect as what we clean: keeping run-off out of the pool where practical, working around equipment and fencing, and using a method suited to the coping material.

What’s included

  • Coping material identified and matched to a method
  • Run-off managed away from the pool where practical
  • Pool equipment and fencing worked around, not over
  • Even coverage across the full surround
  • Edges and steps detailed by hand

Surfaces we handle

  • Pool coping and bullnose edging
  • Travertine and stone surrounds
  • Concrete and paver pool decks
  • Adjoining paths and alfresco areas
  • Fence lines and equipment surrounds

Surface limitations

We're exterior cleaners, not pool technicians — we don't service, drain or chemically balance pools. Some run-off is unavoidable on a tight surround; where that's the case we'll flag it before starting so you can plan a filter run.

The difference

What it looks like.

Drag to compare. Demonstrations built from licensed stock photography; genuine job documentation replaces them as work is completed.

Questions

Pool Surrounds,
answered.

Will the cleaning affect my pool water?

We keep run-off out of the pool where the layout allows. On tight surrounds some overspray is unavoidable, and we'll tell you before we start so you can run the filter afterwards.

Do you clean the pool itself?

No. We clean the surfaces around it. Pool servicing, tiles below the waterline and water chemistry are a pool technician's job.

Is travertine coping safe to clean?

Yes, with a low-pressure approach. Travertine is soft and can be marked by aggressive pressure, so it gets a gentler method than a concrete deck.
