Terms of service

These terms cover exterior cleaning work carried out by Stride Exterior Cleaning (ABN 30 627 254 526). Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Quotes
Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on the scope and surface condition described or shown to us. If what we find on site differs materially — significantly more area, a surface in worse condition, or access that isn’t as described — we’ll tell you before doing the work and either revise the quote or stop.
Access and water
You’ll need to provide safe access to the areas being cleaned and the use of an outdoor tap with reasonable flow. Where access can’t be made safe, we may decline that part of the work.
Results and limits
Cleaning removes what is sitting on a surface. It does not repair or replace the surface itself. Marks that have penetrated the material — soaked-in oil, rust, paint, efflorescence, permanent discolouration — and existing damage such as flaking paint, failed sealant, spalling concrete or perished timber may not improve, and can become more visible once surrounding dirt is removed. We’ll flag anything we notice before starting.
Pre-existing damage
We assess surfaces before work and raise anything of concern. We’re not responsible for damage arising from pre-existing defects we’ve pointed out, or from defects that weren’t reasonably visible before work began.
Your property
Please move or tell us about anything fragile, valuable or awkward before we arrive. We take reasonable care with plants, fittings and surrounding surfaces, and manage run-off where the site allows.
Insurance
Stride carries $10 million public liability. A certificate of currency is available on request.
Scheduling and weather
Work may be rescheduled for weather or safety. We’ll give you as much notice as we can and agree a new time.
Payment
Payment terms are set out on the quote and invoice for your job.
Cancellation
Let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or move a booking, so the time can be reallocated.
