Large double driveways, wide entry paths, big alfresco slabs and rendered or lightweight-clad walls. Exposed aggregate is common, and so is plain broom-finished concrete — both of which look excellent when they're evenly clean and noticeably tired when they're not.
Newer doesn't mean immune. A five-year-old driveway in this climate has already collected enough to be a couple of shades off where it started, and because the surfaces are large and uninterrupted, the difference shows more than it would on a small strip driveway.
